Heart foundation detox diet
2 Answers
Anyone heard of this, some women in the office are doing it and they can loose 17lbs or so, it sounds healthy enough but they're giving it a go.
Anyone out there done it and pleased the results?
Are there any side effects?

Any diet promising fast weight loss is not good. In fact avoid 'diets' for slimming. If you lose weight quickly it disrupts your metabolism and you will put it back on again quickly (plus extra pounds!)Eat less, eat slowly and choose foods from all food groups, including lots of fruit and vet. Drink lots of water and walk everywhere! Weight will come off slowly and safely and if you keep up this lifestyle you will keep the weight off and feel and look healthy.
Nothing more boring than a dieting woman!!!

Is it the one where you have eat saltine crackers (like TUC)?
And it is certainly nothing to do with the British Heart Foundation nor its American equivalent, both of whom strongly recommend NOT using such diets.
It's years old. You can lose weight quickly, you probably will feel ill whilst on the diet and you definitely will put it all back on very quickly.
