careless driving

i was in a car crash and am being charged with careless driving i had to hand in my details to the police station and my m.o.t is up so i am being charged with that too, ive only passed about 4 months ago, can you tell me what the procedures will be.

You can see the penalties you can expect here - between 3 and 9 points for careless driving and a fine for no mot.

If you get 6 points or more you will lose your license and revert to learner status, meaning you have to take your theory and practical tests again, display L plates and drive only when supervised.
