Godfather - Dons edition for PS3

Hi, Bought this recently for ps3 and have got the level of underboss. I have been given the mission to destroy all the rival families but am finding this impossible. Whene ever I enter a base there are 2 many bad guys to kill and I always die. Anyone know where I can find a strategy or any tips to make me better......

Hi,
I'm approx. at the same stage as you (Underboss - but have managed to blow up the Tattaglia compound).

My 2 tips for this are:

1) Get yourself as much ammo as you can carry. I'm guessing you've upgraded some of your weapons - my usual favourites are the upgraded Pistol and the Saturday Night Special Pistol.
I found the Tommy Gun quite effective in taking down large numbers of enemies.

2) Call in a hit squad. Ask for their help before reaching a compound (they magically appear when you arrive lol). Also recruit your own assistant too.
