If you are suffering from clinical depression because your body is not producing enough 'happy' hormones, then you did need the anti-depressants.
Go back to your GP and see if he will change the tablets for ones that suit you - there are many different sorts.
If you are not clinically depressed, and just 'down in the dumps' think about making changes in your life. Easily said, I know. It is important to have something to look forward - little things and big things - and have some sort of plan.
Remember that anti-depressants take weeks to work - you have to stick with it.
