my pc wont boot up n keeps tellingme that NTLDR is compressed... can anyone help n tell me wot that means ..

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.NTLDR is part of the boot process for windows xp. Its stored in the system partition which is normally hidden. How it became compressed? i have no idea.
The solution? If you have somehow managed to compress the partition (highly unlikely) then uncompress it. simple.
Failing that, Whack in your xp cd and go to recovery console and repair MBR. That should replace both system and boot partitions.
Your files and settings wont change so dont worry.
