Vicious stray cat
4 Answers
We have four neutered male cats all of which are being viciously attacked almost on a daily basis by a stray cat in the area - this thing is incredible, an absolute ball of fury, and he bites them, a cat's bite being really nasty.
I've managed to stop it coming in through the cat flap by setting it to "in but not out" one night and scaring the **** out of it, but the attacks go on, two of ours were left limping morosely around the house all day yesterday in obvious pain. Another one was bitten at the base of the tail a month ago, it went septic and the vet's bill was 135.00, I can't have anymore of this so unless anyone knows what I can do I'm going to have to shoot the bloody thing although I haven't come to this decision lightly, (this is a person who stops his car to rescue a baby bird that was sitting bewildered in the middle of the road the other day)

We had 3 half feral cats at the end of our garden who kept visiting the local tom, so the numbers kept increasing. They spayed them, found homes for the kittens and returned the original 3 cats to us to carry on living at the end of our garden, if we noticed them falling ill the Cats Prtoection League helped to trap them again to get veterinary assistance (we always helped towards costs through donations).
