In the utterly amazing song 'Rebellion (Lies)', by Arcade Fire, can anyone tell me whether the violin rift used in it is a sample of another tune?

Just had a look on the cd insert. It says all song writeen by arcade fire with help from John Deu on #1 and #3 The string arrangement s had outside help too, I imagine the answer is they wrote it themselves. Its been used in a few ads so if it sounds familiar I expect thats where its from, bnearing in mind its been out for abour 2 and a half years now.
