Original's by Leonard Cohen - but I agree the one featured was probably the Rufus version.

Definitely The Jeff Buckley version - Wainwright's version has a piano on it.

Yeah it was definately the Jeff Buckly version. The Rufus Wainwright version is on Shrek and is much shorter.

The Version used in the film Shrek was actually John Cale's but on the Soundtrack Album it is the Rufus Wainwright version.
