Hi all i'm having my kitchen done up i have no oven or hob and i need to do some small boiled potatoes in my microwave do i add any water or salt to taste if so how much?
how long should i cook them for and do i cover all the potatoes to the top with water?

are they new potatoes in the skin?

Just put them in a bowl with about a centimetre of water in the bottom of it and cover the bowl with a plate.

Cook them for about 5 couple of minutes at a time (depending on how many you are cooking) until they are soft through.

If you check the labels on the packets in M+S and Tesco they will tell you how long they advise, but that's how I do mine!
