this was a story told to me about a place we visited while i was on my holiday when i was a child, it was a small museumin rochdale, the museum about cotton industry i think , the story goes that the security guard who was on nightshift always felt that somebody was watching him after doing his rounds he sat done to do some paperwork as he was progressing he noticed that some of the paper work was missing this seemed to happen everytime he did, putting it down to tiredness thought no more about it so he got on with the rest of the job, doing his rounds, it so happens that the security guard who usually came at 5am came a little earlier ( i should tell that the security offic faced the carpark) as he pulled in to the carpark he notice the security guard at his desk and standing beside him was a figure which look like a man reading a sheet of paper , when the second security guard entered the office he asked who the other person, to the confusion of the first security guard he said that he was the only one in the buildingwhen they checked the building they came to a room (i've been in this room and it it scary in the daytime, you actually feel cold in this room even though it has radiators, everybody remarks on it) which stands a fwax statue of a man of a man pointing at the door way, when the second security guard looked at it, he went very pale after he pulled himself together he said it was the figure who was standing next to him at his desk, soon after that he quit.
