Sarah L Winchester, the daughter of the very famous gun manufacturer, she thought that she was haunted by the spirits of everyone who had been killed by one of her family's guns and that the only way for her to appease the spirits was to keep building on to her house. She also held dinner parties every night at midnight for herself and twelve ghosts.
