I posted a question up here a while ago about a guy that I work with who had been showing an interest in me. Well he has been acting cool around me for a while after I flirted back with him which made me think he lost interest. He wasnt talking to me as much so I just played it cool too. Anyways, the last night that we worked together he was being really friendly again. And then after he said hi to me I started talking to him about changes in my department, and he was looking into my eyes with this wide eyed, sort of tender look. So my question is do you guys think he still likes me even though he had been acting cool for a while around me?

i think he was being shy but now he thinks what the heck he'll go for it , you cant afford to sit back and relax over this if you want to go places wiv him , you must ask him out - dont wait.

why do so many people post on here asking the same old thing. just ask him out, its not like you're having an affair, you're not doing anything wrong! you'll only get your hopes up if carry on fannying around him, just go for it. grrr

Its so easy to say 'oh just ask him out!' How longs yours gone on for?

Mine for about 2 months but when u consider that thats little things happening everyday it seems like forever!

What are u going to do? sadly for me I kinda agree with trinny, if my guy liked me i reckon something would have happened by now-sigh!

Well actually this whole thing with him liking me started a long time ago, like around october of last year.
But I didn't actually flirt back with him until april because at the time I wasnt' interested and had other things going on in my life. Well if you have read some of my other posts I think I mentioned his reaction when I finally flirted with him. His face lit up and he got this love sick look in his eyes and then he got embarrassed.
I think he does still like me but I have a couple of theories as to why he hasn't asked me out.
A. He's a store manager. I'm a basic clerk. Probably he doesnt want to get involved because of company policies and possibly losing his job.
B. He's actually quite shy and doesn't really know how to act around me, so is following my lead and just plays it cool.
C. I heard just 6 months ago he got seperated from his common law wife. So maybe it's too soon for him to get involved with someone, or he could be just afraid to get hurt again.

So I'm just going to act proffessional around him, and treat him the way I would any other person at the company. If it's meant to be it will happen.

I fannyed around fancying a guy who was one of my clients for a whole year, thought he was interested and wasted so much time as when it came to the crunch he bottled it and made out he never fancied me! I had clarification from people he did! Fair enough we are business associates, but i asked him for a drink, nothing heavy etc, he just bottled it and made up a stupid excuse! Year on and i have a boyfriend and not being big headed he seems gutted...Just don't waste any time, sort it out!! x
