You will need to have the switch replaced if there is no sign of the pull cord, you could do it yourself, but be very carefull the terminals must be very secure and make sure the wires go in the correct terminals, and of course make sure the mains are turned off first, if in any doubt consult local sparkie, good luck, Ray

Thanks ray,we have the pull cord, and i rang a sparkie to see how much he would charge,he said at least 70 pound,so i will have to do it my self,im not looking forward to it,would i be able to try and put it on "on" and leave it on "on"if you can understand what i mean
That seems quite expensive, as the switch is only about 10, you may be able to pull enough of the cord to put it in the on position, but I would reccomend that the switch is replaced because if something does go wrong with the shower you need to be able to isolate the supply quickly, I would ring another sparkie, if you go onto the" Napit" site you can search for a local electrician, or the eca or nic sites may also have this facility, I would have thought about 50, was a bit fairer, but obviously depends on travelling etc, good luck, Ray
