i am looking in giving riding lessons on someone elses land, (i woujld b freelance) i am fully qualified and am wondering whether there would be any healthy and safety issues and anything else i would need to have, or the person owning the land thanks

Most important would be insurance.

Yep Insurance is the most important thing, must have 3rd party liability cover. Contact SIEB they provide the best and cheapest insurance, for freelance riding instructors.

You should also enforce H&S rules on your pupils. Riding in hard hat etc.
