Opening my own Fish & Chip Shop

What will i need to set up my own fish and chip shop, money is not the issue that is sorted, i need to know if i need to apply for any licence or go on any courses to get certificates?

the property will need to be licenced for food retail. Check with your local council. I think you will need a food hygene certificate, again ask your local council.

Going on a course helps if you are starting from scratch but not necessarily if you bought an exsiting business, which I'm sure the vendor will be happy to train you.

Make sure the premises has A3 usage. You can start your business first and go on a one day course for a food hygene certificate on a later date.

Get insurance. Good luck.
