The car cuts out at a junction and the after few trys it would start again. But this on happens when the car is engine is warm.

Sounds like you have a probem with ticking over at idle. Suggest cleaning or replacing spark plugs, whilst youre at it have a look at the air filter too - this might be dirty and causing the soiling on spark plugs, if so replace.

If however the spark plugs are spanking clean and you still have a problem, suggest you investigate the timing, clean distributor, leads, battery connections etc with a spray of WD40.
