I wish to divorce my partner .
I would like a quick [amicable] divorce and avoiding high solicitors fees .

If you are on a low income, you could apply for legal aid. Then see a solicitor who deals with such cases. They will advise you to have counseling, which cuts a lot of your costs. Downside is you have to then go for counseling with your ex. Go through loads of stuff, which he never follows through with after the sessions finish. But it cuts your costs a lot.

my wife left.
packed in her job went on the dole.
went to lawyer got legal aid.
i got divorced on grounds of my unreasonable behaviour!!!!!
i had choice to either accept that and get free divorce or divorce her for messin around with her now husband.that wouldve cost thousands according to my lawyer.his advice"if you want rid and dont wanna pay a fortune.just accept it"

we were divorced within 9 months of her leavin with my daughters

legend i am sorry to read your message and i can see that a divorce can never be simple or amicable. But when so much hurt has been done and gone it is almost impossible to view the future in a prosperous way. It is very painful to go this process of almost grieving i say.
The upmost importance are always the childrens who shows resiliance ,but it is ball***t because they are suffering too but in silence.
Stability,happiness,fullfillment of life will be my priority for me and my childrens, respect too for their father that they have learned to detest and from whom have witnessed too much violence.But to drum into their little heads that he is still their father. And that is hard work!

Unreasonable behaviour is probably the quickest way although one of you will have to blame the other, as long as you both agree to it who care who it is. When I got divorc ed 6 years ago my fees were about �400.00

We used divorce-online.you dont have to do much and all in all it cost about �500. It was fairy quick and not stressfull. Just type in divorceonline and you will find them. Good luck x
