Why can men burp louder and for longer?

my boyf can make his burps last long enough to say a word, mine are pathetic girly burps. Why do men burp longer and louder?

Its because they actually care about it. Where we do it to release trapped wind, they do it for 'fun'.

Saying that tho once ive had a few fizzy drinks i can burp with the best of them lol.

I disagree regarding farting. I can out-fart Mr P no problem, and he can do some wicked ones.

I have been told that men fart loudest but womens smell more. I find this a load of twaddle.

However I must admit I cannot burp for toffee, whilst Mr P can burp the alphabet.

if ever they did a world cup of burps i would represent my country!!............. my wife thinks its foul and tuts when ever i am in the mood to blow a few out!!

farting.................. i have girly farts and the wife can out fart me by a long shot!!............. not that she knows this because she is usually asleep when she does it!!!

A belch can be a soul-satisfying experience. I wandered upstairs during the French Grand Prix and was rewarded by a belter on the way down, the kind that makes you glad to be alive and realise that there is more to this world than aspirin.

I don't think women should fart at all, it is entirely inelegant, but heck why should I care in an empty house.

My sister and I used to have burping contests, trying to see who could burp most of "hickory dickory dock." I could always do the first "hickory dickory." She got as far as "hickory dickory dock, the mouse..." in one go. She always won....grrrr!
