Does anybody know what the above named song is about, after overhearing his wife to be being called a wh*re, he says technically our marriage is saved, am I just being dim?

I presume that his wife to be has been cheating, and this is why the people are calling her a wh*re..... so as he's heard this before the wedding he means his marriage is saved as he knows what she is like before he has married her, instead of getting married and then finding out shes a cheater!!
