Can you explain how my post is bigoted? I doubt it! I was just posting in the same vein as the others(i.e. in a jocular manner) but you've taken offence at mine -how sad.
Furthermore, can you deny that the Pope's hat is something out of the ordinary and that he did indeed once kiss an airport runway?
Your sensibilities are obviously too delicate for this site, perhaps you may consider not posting for a while until your sense of humour(and reality) return.
Philtaz: I think that when hopalong wrote "sick bigoted idiot", he/she was referring tot he Pope, not to you or your post.
Anyway, yes Oscar Wilde was gay; he famously had an affair with Alfred Douglas, son of the Marquess of Queensbury. The M of Q publicly accused OW of being a "sodomite" [i.e. a man who has sex with other men] and OW sued the M of Q for libel. OW lost the case, and the evidence given in the libel trial eventually led to OW being convicted and sent to prison for two years, where he wrot "The Ballad of Reading Jail".

blimey! i got into trouble for calling somebody who asked the "tasty" question an "Imbecile", The AB Editor will have you shot against a wall for calling the Pope (or Philtaz for that matter) a sick bigoted idiot.. (i'm joking AB Ed before you have the sense of humour failure some people appear to be having these days!)
