Hope this does not seem such a silly query?
Are Wagon Wheels, the big roundy biscuit with jam inside, still on sale? Who makes them? Used to them a lot 30 years ago!
Ditto query on Dads Cookies (yellow packet!)

OMG I don't remember what they looked or taste like but I remember the name. I didn't know they still exist.
yep, the originals didnt have jam, then after a few years they bought out jam ones. theyre not as nice as i remembered them though!
Not only are wagon wheels still gojn, but they also come in a couple of different varieties. Sadly, as with all good things from the past, they have changed a little and not as nice now. I beleive they are made by Warburtons.
Cant help you woth the cookies, never heard of them!

Thank you to everybody. Have tried in a few places re: Wagon Wheels and drawn a blank. Great to know they're there! Yeah, remember the original which didnt have jam.
Dad's Cookies were the favourite of all.....
My missus bought some for the kids packed lunches, out of curiosity I ate one.... and to my suprise they tasted just as bland as they did 25 years ago
'Dad's Cookies" are available over here in the Colonies (Canada). The traditional type are oatmeal, but there are other varieties too. They are made by Kraft, and the package is indeed yellow.
Star - I found this recipe on the internet for you:

Hi Martin,
Here is a recipe that I have for "dad's cookies", I have not made them recently but my kids used to rave about them and keep asking "when are you going to make them again".

Dad's Cookies.

1 1/2 cups margarine.
2 cups brown sugar.
1 tsp. vanilla extract.
2 eggs.
1/2 tsp. salt.
2 cups plain flour.
1/2 tsp. baking powder.
1/2 tsp. bicarb.
2 cups oatmeal.
2 cups unswnd. shredded or desicated coconut.
2 cups crushed corn flakes.
Chocolate or butterscotch chips may be added if desired.

Method.
Mix in order and drop on greased baking sheet.
Press with a fork.
Bake at 375F (190C) for 8 - 10 minutes.
Makes approx. 7 dozen.

You probably wouldn't notice them in the supermarkets as they are now less than half their original size !!
Stewey was right - they sell 3 kinds of the Dad's in Canada - you can see them here:
