How can the government be critical of carbon emisions from Chinese coal fired power stations when Britain is selling plant and equipment from British decommisioned power stations and the Government is financially supporting the building by via the Overseas Economic Development Council. ?

Same way it can impose taxes to discourage* air travel, yet at the same time approve expansion plans for Stansted, Heathrow and Birmingham airports.
