meatloaf
I have just been to see Meat Loaf at Ashton Gate in Bristol, although the sound was quite poor quality i really enjoyed seeing him. I have been a fan since buying his Bat of Out Hell album in the 70's. There is is one thing that i am very curious to know. Why does he have a red flag in his hand and attached to his mic. It must represent something, but does anyone know what? I have read lots about him but this is not mentioned.

I imagine that now he is older, slimmer, and possibly less frenetic, he doesn;t need the hankie, but it is something of an identifying symbol, so he keeps it going.
This is an educated guess, rather than a known fact - if i catch up with him, I'll ask, and post here.
