i hardly ever need to blow my nose. my husband always blows his like a foghorn and i HATE it! he always inspects the contents, eurgh.

- And only if there is no tissue to hand and it's literally running down my face!!

On a bike all you need to do is to close one nostril, lean to the side and blow hard, take care in headwinds.

i only blow my nose when i've got a cold, and hearing or seeing other people blow their nose makes me feel ill, i think its rude and they should go outside and do it! i'm not joking

I had a tissue ready to blow my 6 yr old's nose outside school this morning, and I said 'big blow, like a dinosaur' as I usually do. (Don't ask...!) A mate of his said 'I can do one bigger than a dinosaur - I go like this...' And then he excitedly showed us, but he had no tissue, obviously, and the contents of his nose flew out onto his mouth and chin. He startled himself so much that he sniffed it all back in again pronto. Then he ran off, leaving us startled too!!

lol - just thought I'd share that experience with you all - hope you're not eating!!!

B-the-T - I'd say I'm pretty darn quiet - on a scale of 1 - 10 I'd give myself a 2 or 3 tops (perhaps sometimes a 1), I'd never use my sleeve. I always keep tissues in my bag!

bob, I don't use my sleeve although I have used someone else's but I do try and get the bogies out of my son's nose - is that bad? :)
