Have just finished this puzzle. I came to the following conclusions, whether right or not!!
Dicky = shirt front
Trig - short for trigonemetry.
Tea house - think there was a title somewhere "Tea House of the August Moon".

Will clarify answer of "tarry" - I took this as a printing error which should have read "Hang" not "Hand".
