Visa for Kenya
3 Answers
We are going to Kenya in September and have been told by the travel agent not to bother getting a visa until we arrive in Kenya, they have told us that everyone waits until they get there but I'm not sure, any advise would be welcome.

Post it, together with your passport, a copy of your holiday booking, a passport photograph and the 30 fee (in postal orders, or using a building society cheque/banker's draft - not a personal cheque), to the address on the form. Also enclose a pre-paid recorded delivery or special delivery envelope (available from any post office) for the return of your passport and visa. It should be back with you in about a week.

i was there earlier in the year and just did it when there - they issued the forms on the flight. Was a bit of a hold up but everyone else was waiting anyway so was not a problem. Was a bit of a wait so I suppose not good if you are very impatient. I still think if you had completed it before hand you may still have to wait in the queues to get through anyway. It was a fantastic holiday - I will definately go back one day.
