thanks for those suggestions. So far my fave is Odd Jobs Handyman Services. What do you guys think?
Do you know, I've been thinking about ideas for you all day but still can't come up with anythng catchy.
Your Odds Jobs isn't ringing my bell.
How about "The Man with a Van"?
At least people would say "I'm going to ring up that man with the van"
Leave it with me and watch this space
Howsabout "I'm Your Man?"
I can see the publicity now - If you want something doing - I'm Your Man!
Have just looked up the lyrics for "I'm your Man" and it's actually quite on the button (If you're gonna do it, do it right, yeah, do it with me!) until you get to the "sexual inspiration" bit.
I guess that if the handy bloke is your husband/partner that may prove to sound a bit like a mobile male escort.
I'm sorry - I AM taking this seriously but I've been needing chocolate all day and I'm running low on sugar.
Please accept my sincere apologies if you are not appreciating my feeble attempts to help
Odd jobs doesnt sound like you are a full time business. Odd isnt a great word really.

its a bit 'bit of this, bit of that' sounding
Ok - sugar levels much better now.
Handyman is good in the name because it says what he does so let's build on that -
Home Handyman?
perhaps just Mr. Handyman.
It take it this is for a small business?
Would he use his first name or do you want it more formal?
We've got a bloke our way and he's called his business Paul the Plumber and it says who he is and what he does perfectly. I do hope this bloke's name starts with an "H"!
Do let us know when you decide.
Handy Hammer
my plumber is called 'plumb head'

Thanks, some great ideas there. We like Home Handyman and Mr Handyman particularly. Unfortunately his name isn,t Harry or we would have had it in the bag. Steve the Handyman doesnt have the same ring.

What do you think of S.H.S (Steves Handyman Services)?
All Jobs, Great & Small
- Good if you're based in Yorkshire!

The Handy Warhols
Mr Fixit, youbendit, wemendit. on the level.

Set square. Mr mendit, tools r us.
Go away you lot - I was on a winner there!
Steve's Services? Hmmm - bit worried about the word "services". Could be asked for some services he may not wish to provide.
TGRaySparx - love you dearly as you know but Mr. Fixit? Coo-ee Mr. Fixit? Brings to mind a chimp with a cuppa and "do you ride tandem?" Sorry to be a bringer of cold water.
Suze - so sorry his name's not Harry or Herbert but there's not too much wrong with Steve the Handyman
LOL sorry Mammar, sorry about that, you are right I withdraw my names and suggest you go with Mammars one cos it is the best,
