google earth

could any one help please,ive just got google earth ,and every time it just gets past the tips it shuts my pc down but it starts up straight away all on its own ,is my pc not good enough to run this prog ,its got a big memory 1gb and its using xp +sp2 and its 3 years old , ps only 20% of my hard drive is being used if thats any help ,many thanks

hello fo3nix ive got a (excalibur 3d version 15,) its by ati if that help ,since I started wih this problem it looks like I
had a choice of the full monty or Direct mode or GL mode
it now works in GL mode, which is better than nothing ,but whats the difference with all these options any way ,should I be happy with what ive achieved so far ,not very good with these things

openGL should be fine.

Try to update to the latest drivers from ATI's website.
