If you do not want to dehydrate yourself or have your metalbolism cut in to your protein (muscle), then it will only be possible through rigorous areobic exercise.
That is 3500 extra calories a day you need to burn off. That is about a half marathon a day for 28 days.
Can be done, but quite tough for somebody who is two stone overweight.
Also the skin will not shrink back in time due to this rapid weight loss and you may be left with saggy bits everywhere.
I once lost three stones in about 2 weeks on a jungle training exercise. I do not know how much was water, and I was very dehydrated at the end. We also ate like kings, but as we were probably each buring 12-15000 calories a day, you just couldn't keep up with calorie intake, no matter how much food was available.
My advice, unless you are a supreme athlete with a strong heart, you shouldn't lose more than 5 pounds a week. Most medics say 2-3 pound a week continually is safe.

Perfectly possible as long as you are at least 2 stone overweight (otherwise you'd probably half kill yourself) Lots of people lose 2 stone on programmes such as Lighterlife, Cambridge diet, Lipotrim or Howards Way. Most people on these programmes would lose less than this (more likely a stone or a stone and half) but as I said, 2 stone is definitely possible!
I had hit a long plateau in my weight loss and have almost had to bannish fat from my diet due to the old gall stones and have been drinking a lot of water and have hit 7lbs a week for the last three weeks. Apart from running around with the boys and decorating, I have been to the gym 3 times a week and used my stepper everynight during corrie and enders. Im just kinda hoping it will carry on for another week.
I'm not convinced that 2 stone could be lost in a month if only water was drunk!
2 stone in a month, without dieting 'or anything' would suggest illness! If a tumor is present then it could be feeding off the body and rapid weight loss would ensue. I also have a friend who lost approximately this amount of weight and felt 'a bit funny,' turned out she was diabetic.
If you are asking the question Goodsoulette because this is happening to you or someone you know, then please get down to the Dr's pretty sharpish!

Following on from what julie says when I went to Rosemary Connely workout a few years back there was one lady who lost 10lbs in one week just by cutting out mayo from her diet (dred to think how much she ate a week!).
I think when there is a lot of weight to lose it can come off in quite big chunks to begin with. That tends to be the reason why people start off well on diets when quite a few lbs come off in a week but when your body reaches a point and it's only the odd lb a week people get disheartened and give up (I know I have!).

I once lost 2stone in a month -I was drinking but not eating but was also seperating from my husband.I couldnt at that point afford to lose the weight and unfortunately I didnt put the weight back on when things settled so it must have been nerves.
I now need to lose weight -so I am now on hubby number 2 -do ya think I should punt him -lol?As if -i'd rather be chubby -but yeah I think its possible and keep it up Goudsoulette -although I thought you looked just fine before.

Yes. I tend to lose 9lbs in the first week of a diet because of the sudden strictness and loss of water. Then if I keep it up it is easy to lose a stone in a month, which makes nearly 2 stone. Having said that, after this initial weight loss it slows down to 1 or 2lbs a week which is what is sensible and normal.
