The Nestle debate
2 Answers
A few years ago I believe there was some controversy over Nestle providing impoverished women in other countries with milk discouraging breast feeding until they were no longer to do so. As far as I can remember they then proceeded to charge the women for further milk fully aware of the difficulties that would bring. Was this a myth? Is it still going on? Where can I find out if companies are operating fairly?
Many thanks, please excuse my ignorance if this is not true.
