Let the Good Times Roll
Can any vintage music lovers out there help me with a song title which I think was around in the 60's or early 70's. I only remember a few words of the chorus which I think were ' come on baby let the good times roll' I know there is a similar song title from the group 'Sheep on Drugs' but the one I am thinking of is nothing like.

Come on baby, let the good times roll
Come on baby, let me thrill your soul
Come on baby, let the good times roll, roll all night long
Oh baby, feel so good when you're home
Come on baby, rock me all night long
Come on baby, let's close the door
Come on baby, let's rock some more
Come on baby, let the good times roll, roll all night long
Come on baby, let's close the door
Come on honey, let's rock some more
Come on baby, let the good times roll, roll all night long
Oh baby, feel so good when you're home
Come on baby, rock me all night long

Come on baby, let me thrill your soul

The Animals did a song called let the good times roll I think and they were about 1960's I'm fairly sure. But I don't know if it's their song originally. Just know my dad has that version.
Hendrix has a song called something similar too. The let the good times roll bit is in brackets.
I'm pretty sure if it's the version by The Animals then this song has been covered a few times.

Written by the late, great clown prince of jazz, Louis Jordan, and covered by many, most notably the great (but happily not late) BB King.

In late summer of 1956 the song with which Shirley & Lee are most often associated entered the charts. Let The Good Times Roll was a big hit at teenage parties everywhere. Some DJ's refused to play it, claiming that it had suggestive lyrics. The song crossed over to the pop charts, where it reached as high as number twenty
