The best way to find a job in Cali is decide where you want to teach (what cities/counties). Then go to their websites for vacanies. Last I heard there aren't a ton of teaching spots available. It's very competitive. When I was in University there was such a big demand for teachers but since Arnold Sch became the darn 'governator' the schools have made cutbacks.
Are you sure you are qualified to teach in California? Each state has their own qualifications. If I got certified in one state I might probably won't be qualified in California. I believe that California only accepts their own University credentials (unless emergency credentials). But don't quote me on this. Things might have changed in the last year.
