stopping a concervatory been built next door

can anyone help or has anyone actual stopped one been built it is only two foot away from our house.and our garden faces south it will block nearly all the winter sunshine plus at other times. also it will stop light to the door which is close to it this is our only means of light on that part of our house at ground level .there house is joined to ours but set back we let them build a extention on it a few years ago. i know about how much they can build on extra i just need the best reason to get this stopped thank you

Take advice from your local district council on this one. their planning dept will know the grounds that they would accept for refusing permission to build, allowing that it is needed

If your neighbours have gone about it above board then it probably conforms to building regulations and thus you'll have great difficulty.
