Iraq - Organised Tours?

Hi About 2 weeks ago CNN (Europe edition) featured a report on a group of German Nationals who went on a recent tour to Iraq. The cost per person was about US dollars1300. Does anyone have any info on any tours to Iraq? Either via Germany or my home country UK. I did contact CNN via their web site to ask for contact details on the tour organiser but they have not bothered to reply. Thanks in advance for any help Peter

Peter. I can't find anything on the web, though it's probably worth highlighting the advice posted on the Foreign Office website: "British nationals should not attempt to visit Iraq". Let us know how you get on!

Hi Peter and everybody else, Yes, there are quite a few in Europe (UK, Finland, France, Germany at least) and even from Canada. I see the only option to travel to Iraq is by a group since the minimum requirement is 5 people. The price what I have found starts from EUR 1600 per person for 10 days, full board inc. flights to Syria or Iran.
