I thought that it was a pig but the answer is an animal of 7 letters beginning with B or C

Hi valerieb1254 - the pelican was the waste bin but they had a pig for the wastr disposal

The clue gives 7 letters and the first letter is alphabeBical with the answers either side which means it is either B or C

Many thanks JimJools I found pig on that site but it doesn't fit the clue.
Perhaps someone who has finished the quiz will help
