Why is it that when letters from a clue are put on this site, and there are 3 or 4 words, when the question comes on Answerbank, the spaces between each word are not there so it looks like one continual word?

The software this site uses strips out extra spaces so that you can never display more than 1 space between any two other characters. Most of us use 'space - slash - space' to separate words in an answer like _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ _
