1.In the book Garden of Rama there is a french woman who uses the word often.
2.the one tip I'll hand out for it is that it;s NOT originally from english language. Sure, it's one of the foreign words that's been adopted so it's in english dictionary now, but it's like the way tyhe english nicked rendezvous from the french language.....
3.K well this might help a little.....you know certain letters in French have an egrave (dunno if that's spelt right), the little line above them on a slant.....
well there's an e in this word with one......
so it actually LOOKS like a french word.....easier to spot than a lot of the other ones the english have nicked lol
