Blues series

There was a series of documentaries aired on bbc4 over the summer directed by several different... directors, about the history of the blues. It was great and each week I tried to record it on my new-fangled dvd player and every week I failed. I accept my failure as a criminal, but is it possible to actually buy it from anywere. Actually, while we're here, is it actually illegal to record stuff for your own use? i presume not.

The whole series can be bought on DVD, though I think it's one film on each DVD so collecting the whole series might be a bit pricey.
