Wondered who was ringing me earlier tonight but soon twigged I was being fonejacked. Has anyone else had this happen yet since the tv programme aired.?

Hi warpig , hows things poppit?
Its on in the evening and is a guy who rings up unsuspecting people and businesses pretending to be a different character and messes with the person by saying silly things or pretending to be from their bank etc..
The guy who rang me must have thought it clever to get his white pages and give it a try.
It went somthing like this:-
Him..." Hello , I am calling from finance "
Me..." Hello , from where?
Him..." From your finance "
Me..." My what ?
Him .."Your financial company "
Me .." Who am I speaking to , what is your name "
Him ..."My name is Mr , I am called answer me now "
Me.........( I hung up )

That was stupid and very mild and hardly worth the mention but I just wondered if anyone else had had any weird calls. :-)

Morning bigmamma, I know what it is now, I have seen the ads for it on tv, no doubt it will be on the increase now the school holidays have arrived!
