blue lips

I am healthy enough but recently i've noticed a blue/black tinge to the middle of my bottom lip. It is not sore and comes and goes so I know it''s not a bruise. Can anyone hed any light on what might cause this. thanks.

i used to get it and was told it was from smoking. don't know if thats true or not!
