hi looking for any one who has been to the usa with a crimnal record and got in on the vwp (as i go to florida tomorrow) will let you all know if i get in and ill tell you my crimes

Good I would love to know if you do but from what I have read on AB it is only people who have comitted really serious crimes that the US immigration may have been informed about such as drug smuggling or terrorism etc.
If it is GBH or shoplifting or something along those lines then they do not have access to our criminal records.

i really dont think it is that difficult to obtain a visa if your dont qualify for the vwp - always best to be sure! anythig to do with drugs and its touch and go

i think the code at the bottom of the passport has some info on it though
