Motorbike for shorter male

I'm looking at getting a 400 or 600 bike as my first bike, i had a 125 10 years ago but want to get back to biking. I'm not very tall 5'7" inside leg about 29" just wondered what would be a good bike for someone shorter?

The custom style bikes tend to be better for shortar$e$. The Yamaha Virago and Dragstar bikes have low seat heights and are excellent machines.

I too am of stunted growth/vertically challenged 5'8
a magazine like What Bike will give you the seat height of all the models/ bikes /scooters/ trialies etc
a Suzuki sv650 is pressumed lower seat or you can have your seats modded / or new ones to give a lower height.
just visit a dealer /showroom & get your leg over a few models - bikes that is & see what you feel comfortable with
my Hornet is quite low but my GSR is a bit taller at the grab rail end to swing leg over!

hi get a hornet im 5 foot 4 n abit and i can reach the floor great plus its 96bhp very fast and great fun corners a1 get one now you will love it.
