the spelling of o'neil is absolutely wrong. it has always been spelled with the double L. sorry kate but you've made a boo-boo here.

Both Encyclopedia Britannica and the Daily Telegraph's own General knowledge book of all you need to know about (almost) everything have him listed as O'Neill. I'm afraid Kate's got it wrong once again. Ah well, par for the course, these days!
