I have some screensavers that I can hear but not see. In the setup panel when I choose and test them sound and vision are present. One screensaver is new but a couple of others I have had for a long time and they used to work.
I am running Windows XP with SP2 and the .scr files are in the same folder as the ones that came with the computer, 'Windows>System32' These are decent quality screensavers from Axialis.
Any ideas?

Must be the latest thinking ... ... if you can't see anything your screen will last years longer than if you could.

Have you checked the "Turn off monitor" period in your power settings?

Good idea Rojash. They were set to turn off after 10 minutes. I have changed it to 'Never' for the time being and wait to see what happens. That ought to do it. Thanks.

That was the right answer. Thanks again Rojash
