stolen car

hi, dunno if this is right catogoery(i never get it right)
sunday night my neighbour had her car stolen she parks it outside our house and sometimes we share our drive with her, shes not lived there long. its slightly un nerving that its happened, as we have never had any problems with our car on our drive or on the road, we have an average family car, escort to be exact, nothing special really, she has a rover, slightly done up, looks a nice sporty car. jus dont see why we have never been targeted, our previous next door neighbours used to park various cars out side our house, 4 at highest count, and they had no problems. thought or area wasnt too bad compared to others.

My car was broken into when I was babysitting my friends girl, had to be written off as theyd trashed door. My ex boyfriends car was stolen but luckily I heard it and the police chased the scumbag, also my other friend had her car nicked by some gypsies trying to get to the seaside on a summers day, but they did leave a car in its place, bless. After reading that youd think I live in a bad area but I dont at all, and happily walk home on my own after a night out, it is just bad luck. And usually happens to the nicest of people.
where i live in a row af 6 terraces we had a spate over 6 weeks of break ins and arson. One house was gutted by fire. Nothing has happened since so we can only put it down to being one of those things.
We visited a childrens farm centre in the counrtyside near nottingham recently, a fun family day out for everyone, apart from those 4 families who returned to their cars and found they had been broken into in the carpark .
It can happen anywhere.
