What is the title of this movie

I saw a movie a long time ago:- it was set in the second world war. a bomber crashed in the desert and the film is about the crew struggling to survive and trying to get themselves rescued, only to discover at the end that they are in fact dead and the reason the spotter planes can't see them is because they are ghosts. can't remeber any of the stars - sorry.

I have looked everywhere on the web, and can find no ref to it. I remember this film but not the name. I know this doesn't help but I too now want to find the answer.

Im sure Sole Survivor was based on a true story of a B52 Bomber "Lady Be Good" that came down in the Lybian desert in WW2. My hubby read the book "Lady Be Good" years ago.I remember bits of the film.Was'nt the sole survivors skeleton trapped under the plane and thats why he could'nt move on with his mates?
