Has anyone heard of The Thryds?


They were a band of 4 blokes back in the early 60's, they entered a competition on ready,steady go called ready steady win in 1964 & came 3rd place with the song Hide & Seek, this was released on Oak records 1st with the B side being "Ive got my mojo working" then it was released on Decca & the B side was "No time like the present"

I want to contact 3 of the members (who's names i dont have as of yet, i know not very helpful!)
One of the members is Dave Weedon (my dad!)

As soon as i get the other 3 blokes names i will post them on here.

Also note you have the speling wrong, it is THYRDS.

You may have more luck searching the internet with the correct spelling.

Yes i noticed the bad spelling - oooops!

Ive tried on the internet many many times & keep trying to see if anything new comes up as there is not a great deal about them,
Im hoping that there will be someone out there who knows anyone from the band?

i will post the other guys names as soon as i can & hopefully someone out there will know one of them, fingers crossed!
