Real TV Characters?
3 Answers
PLEASE don't anyone take offence at this - it's a genuine question. I have to deal on a weekly basis (phone/email) with a person in an office in Bristol. He's like a character from 'The Office' - close to the Gareth character. Anyway, he's visited my company a few times and everyone agrees he's an obnoxious twit. But he was on holiday for a few weeks, and I had to deal with a few others in his office. And they all seemed to be the same! Is there something in the water in Bristol?

Every week one guy would speak to me to ask where our rep was and would he drop in to see him. Despite me saying that his way of asking was a little odd he just couldn't see the problem with or humour in his question which was always 'hello there - tell me - do you have John up your end'!!!!!
I actually went out with a guy about ten years a go who was the spit of the Gareth character.
I often feel like I'm in a combination of a bad soap opera, carry on matron (ot whatever the hospital one is called) and the office.
But I don't live in Bristol so I guess it must be the water in Surrey.
This is why I mainly drink wine.
