Headlamp bulb

Hi
Which filament is lit for high beam when you've got a dual filament headlamp bulb, the upper or lower? Had it rewired for mot but I think my bike's is the wrong way round, but it's hard to tell just from the beam. Thanks.

In a car dual filament headlamp the dip beam is the shielded filament - dont know if its the same for a bike.
