Anyone know the rules for driving limos etx, I mean at what point do they cease to be a car and become a PSV? Does the driver need a special licence? Training? etc. Some are just stretched a sensible yard or two but some are longer than a bus and look ridiculous! So I assume there must some length when they tecnically cease to be a car and become something else. Anyone in the know?

a vehicle which carries more than 8 passengers is classed as a psv and the driver driving it must hold a psv licence. most local councils now are enforcing that these limos must go through the same sort of annual test as you would for private and public hire cabs/cars. thats why you will probably find most of these limo hire companies will only take up to 8 passengers in their limos.
The above applies only (as I presume you are) to charge passengers
